Amazon.ca Following the September 9 (9-9-09) debut of The Beatles' digitally re-mastered catalogue on CD, Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music are pleased to announce the worldwide release of a limited-edition of only 30,000 Beatles Stereo USB apples on December 8.
The exquisitely crafted, apple-shaped USB drive is loaded with the critically acclaimed re-mastered audio for The Beatles' 14 stereo titles, as well as all of the re-mastered CDs' visual elements, including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums, replicated original UK album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes. A specially designed Flash interface has been installed, and the 16GB USB's audio and visual contents will be provided in FLAC 44.1 Khz 24 bit and MP3 320 Kbps formats, fully compatible with PC and Mac.

The remastered music is a must for any Beatle fan. The huge bonus that I wasn't even expecting is loads of video footage of the Beatles on stage and during interviews. Extremely cool material from the archives. I am so glad I ordered this. And also kudos to Amazon for providing free shipping. I placed my order on a tuesday afternoon, and received it exactly one week later on the following tuesday morning. Great service from Amazon.

This is the best version of the beatles available today. I have bought the mono box and a couple of the stereo cds. I have transferred the flac files to play on my home stereo system. The sound quite a bit better than the cd version. The flac files sound more realistic with a fuller sound compared to the cd which also sounds good but a bit hollow. At the price it is selling now at ($210) , it is a great buy.
