Ive been waiting for so many years for The Beatles music to "com clean", and now itfinally happened. Its like listening to this music for the first time, and it sounds magnificent. Together with the mono boxed set I can finally rest my ears and mind to the best music ever made.

This is a good compilation, as far as it goes.
What happened to Long Tall Sally (in Canada - 1964)? Elsewhere it was just called The Beatles Second Album.
And, there is Twist And Shout.
Adding the music from these two albums to the end of other albums doesn't do it for me. It is misleading and disrespectful, but maybe if you didn't grow up in the 60s, listening to their music, you wouldn't notice, so to the producers of this compilation, it doesn't matter.
You've got all their latest stuff in there though.

Stereo Box Set
The Stereo Box Set of the Beatles is a gas. Beautifully packaged and presented...you open the simple black box to find inside tiny versions of the albums. And the sound! The remastering has been done extremely well, enhancing the sound subtly without altering it's character. I know the purists would have you buy the mono set, but for me, this is the way the Beatles would have sounded if the technology had been there. There are a few places where re-mixing might have helped, but overall this is a terrific sounding set with lots of information. My husband and I are thrilled with it, listening over and over. For Beatles fans it's a must and for those who want to meet the Beatles, it's a great introduction. You will not be disappointed.
